Traveling Structure

My architectural inspiration for this project came from primitive, classical and modern architecture.

The stairs are just made from paper covered in masking tape.

The rocks are made from balsa wood and black ink. I diluted with water so it would turn out more grayish, then I just glued them to the foam board with wood glue.

The fence is made from BBQ skewers I cut in half.

I cut my balsa wood in panels angled at 45 degrees each so that panels would be visible rather than just making a regular box.

Materials used: balsa wood, foam board, wood glue, yarn, masking tape, skewers, tracing paper, black ink, push pins, paper
